At that place's no one as well-placed as James Gunn to pitch a Marvel and D.C. crossover. The director has now made deuce Marvel movies (Guardians of the Galaxy, its sequel, with the third entry) and a DC one, the upcoming The Suicide Squad – and now, the filmmaker has revealed he has "casually" spoken with the functioning-tops at both studios virtually potentially making a crossover voter between the ii.

"I've nonchalantly talked to the powers-that-be at both Marvel and DC about it," He wrote on Twitter. "I would do it for it to happen. I don't think it's likely, but I don't think it's an impossibility either. THAT SAID, just constantly visual perception crossovers and mashups is little enchanting to me than a strong story."

Sounds improbable, but a Wonder and DC crossover would sure enough set cinemas alight – and with Gunn at the helm, the movie would none doubt live another whirlwind thrill ride... and nowadays we have our hopes up for this "non impossible" crossover.

Gunn went on to attention deficit hyperactivity disorder: "I get hold it disconcerting at times that many folks appear more curious in crossovers, cameos, references, and post-credit scenes than they do the literal story and characters of a specific film! When making a moving-picture show I spend 99.9 percent of my time thinking just about tarradiddle &adenylic acid; type and 0.1 percent the rest."

He clarified that there is definitely a The Suicide Squad stake-credits scene and that helium "loves" them, however "they'Ra ever an afterthought, a snack, non the main course." In fairness, fans lie with these movies because of the characters, and wouldn't care about the billet-credits if not for the fantabulous stories existence told – though we do talk about what's coming next quite a flock. That's entirely part of the fun!

Should a Marvel and D.C. crossover happen, the studios could do worse than to adapt the DC vs. Marvel serial, which saw deuce Immortal-like siblings – the personifications of DC and Marvel – gainsay to each one other in a series of duels using pawns picked from their several universes. The Flash terminated up fighting Quicksilver, Batman against Captain America, and Thor vs. Sea captain Marvel/Shazam. Once again, now we'ray desperate to see that happening the mountainous screen. Convinced, untangling those contracts would be a nightmare, simply – arsenic Gunn says in other tweet – the literal winner would be the fans.

While we wait for this unlikely crossing over to emphatically happen, check come out all the upcoming Marvel movies and shows with our guide to Wonder Phase angle 4.
